ok so I got my foot pedal???

Opened the box and there it was. Just the pedal no instruction box. warranty card. So I take it out and fire it up.

Heres the Question when I turn it on the display goes from 001-003. that's with the panel turned all the way up and turning the dial on the pedal. Is that normal? if so what do the 001-003 stand for?

thanks for you patients and help.

No instruction needed. Plug in, press foot. Warranty is 6 months against defects.

That's the way it operates. There's no amp control on the panel. You have full range of amps with the 160sth. When you plug the pedal in, the welder reads the default amp output at the pedal's minimum potentiometer position...regardless of whether the unit is putting out or not.
