Justin - for when I'm not using the crossbreed supertuck my friend made me a nice custom pocket holster that is nice for jeans pocket or jacket pocket use.

You're definitely right - a lot of manufactured holsters turn out to be junk pretty quickly. Or fit one guy nice, and another guy terrible.
That crossbreed holster is worth the money though.

    They are pretty simple actually.

The flat flap breaks the outline.

The flap is only attached at the bottom, hand slides between the flap and the main holster for a smooth draw.

Works well in front or rear jeans pocket, inside coat pocket or in my motorcycle vest.

That's awesome. Looks like a lot of time went into it. The simpler the better. I'll see if I can get one made that's similar.

Man, I know Nova Scotia, along with any where in Canada, has a very strict gun control. People here think hand guns are meant for killing people and that's it (Thats what i get from it). When people tell me that, I then pop out my knife (I am not calling it a "switch blade") as those are illegal here. I then say, "right, and this knife was not". Guns are SAFER then knives. How many stabbings do you hear? A whole lot more then shootings. (My area). Because its easier to stab then shoot, and always will be! Haha! I guess I will have to carry a 12 gauge shot gun in my pants for protection! Wish it was a cool as Texas!

Well...my pistols were not made for shooting rabbits.

But, just because you have one, does not mean you go out for walks to shoot people! See, I can bet %95 of people who carry pistols, would HATE to shoot some one. You would never go out for a walk to shoot people, you would use it only if you ever need to, which will likely not happen in your, or my life. (We hope). Its the people who use guns to kill, and hurt, that give them all a bad name, and make people fear them. And, those peope are NOT the ones who are permitted and allowed to conceal guns. I would love to even have to take a course (different then a normal safety course) and everything to be allowed to carry one. If some one is going to use a gun for killing, they will not take the course, bla bla bla. They will be the pearson with the illigal imported from mexico gun. Who would kill any way.
Its hard to word what I am trying to say. I hope you get the point.
I could go on for hours.

Little guns like that never fit in my hand well. Still, if you need a small carry gun I would rather have a little auto than a small frame revolver (I carried a model 36 S&W for a little while). I really liked my S&W compact 9MM. It was bigger than what you got there, but it was a great little pack gun & fit in my hand really nice. Got to where I used a fanny pack most of the time & could carry all my other stuff in it too. The only real drawback is that for anyone looking for it, it's like a sign around your neck that says "I HAVE A GUN"
My hand is actually a little too big for it, and it's not like my hand is huge or anything.
    The little mag extension helps.
I've been looking at little 9mm guns lately too - I don't have a midsize semiauto, just the 1911 and LCP.
The snubbie .38 stands in on occasion. Always liked revolvers - love my s&w .357

What ammo do you run in your lcp. I've been using hornady critical defense.

I'm currently loaded with Speer gold dot personal protection. 90gr hollow point.
I generally carry one spare mag, two if I have room.
But to be honest, if I have to shoot that much I'm carrying the wrong gun for the situation. I view small guns to be for protection to escape, not extended battle.
I rotate in new ammo at the beginning of each summer.
I shoot up the old stuff during practice along with cheap round ball.

Is the lcp rated for +p ammo. I've seen people blow the slides off their guns before

    Re: Pipeline ccw

Never seen an LCP that was specifically +p rated. What did your manual say?

Mine said no .380 auto ammo manufactured to NATO, U.S., SAAMI, CIP standards is known to be beyond design limits of the gun.

Remora makes some nice holsters. The material on the outside has a little bit of "grip" to it to prevent it from moving all over the place.

I use one for my S&W Bodyguard.

    http://www.remoraholsterstore.com/no...iwb-s/1814.htm

As for ammo, I run Hornady Critical Defense until they release these in .380.

didn't read all 4 pages but don't waist band carry a glock, with the trigger safety they can easily go off with cloths fabric bunching up in trigger when you bend or twist or catch on to something, like I said maybe it was brought up didn't read all posts, little bit of useless info, I got a lot of it.
