Great guys, looked like a awesome time. Wish I could have been there maybe in the future. Who was the guy with the kazzooo helmet on the bike who looked like he was about to wipe out? Looked like a blast.

Thanks Wes it was really a nice get together. Great to meet everyone and put some faces to names.

EZ - thanks for all the photos. Now I can show my wife where I was all day while she watched the kids...

Shovelon thanks for the 280 demo. Very nice arc start. I was thinking you maybe could improve it on straight helium by increasing the voltage in the starting parameters; apparently helium has a higher ionization energy than argon so it probably takes more volts to initiate the arc. BTW, Any chance of cutting a bit off the end of that 1" T to etch and look at the root penetration? Appreciate your feedback on the copper stuff.

Sorry Jim and I had to bail early.

Very funny Terry. All I can say is that it WAS a Long Neck. And no Mike, I wasn't about to go down on my Harley. But it does look like that doesn't it.

Fabulous ride , plus, nothing like splitting traffic that's a dead stop legally at not more than 15mph! Traffic was all buggered.

Thanks Wes - look forward to seeing it. That machine could probably have done it much hotter than 115A without violating the duty but I'm still curious to see what helium can do at that amperage.

I'm sending out 10 pounds of horse shoes Fed Ex using their, "one price for anything you can fit in this size box up to 70 lbs" deal to one member here so let me know if anyone wants some. It was $7 for the whole box so we've got a mountain of them here and you're welcome to them. I'd be happy to box them up for you all.

OK......I need to go to the next one. Want to have weldorama in NH? Some plasma cutting will be part of the program. I heard its 15 degrees today, heat wave from what we are used to. I'm in Toronto, was in NC this morning and Floriday Yesterday.
