Don't you mean 928? The same model that Tom Cruise was a UBoat commander of in Risky Business.

OMG, that's REALLY not a Porsche, that massive lug has a V8 in it, and everything is opposite of a Porsche, parking brake is on the opposite side of the driver's seat, it shifts reverse from a Porsche, it's almost like a stocker race car, heard that's what they developed it for. I knew a guy that had one, we swapped cars driving through Toulleme Meadows and over the Tioga Pass down to Mono Lake out of Yosemite...those lugs were capable of going over 100 MPH easy...but nothing like a 911 I had my Targa up to 135mph up the backroad of 395 headed to Mammoth...still able to steer with 2 fingers...

To quote Tom Cruise..."Porsche, there is no substitute...", although that was no Porsche he dropped in the drink...that was a lug...

No, the plug I. The center Indicates it's just a trunk pan. Would've been funny in the tank too

That's not a tack.... It's one of the first holes they punched in for the bolts.... In the wrong spot . Hey at least it's got lock washers on it!!! That'll stand up to anything

Would be awesome if they added eye nuts to the end for clipping on the chains.

    Re: Trailer fail pics

I HAD MY OWN FAIL THIS WEEK

I got the trailer hooked to the 1 ton, and I'm backin' around the container to get straight in the driveway so's we can go get some cattle panels (This all can be blamed on K'kins, and her new calf weaning program).........................AND I HIT THE F'N CONTAINER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got it jacknifed hard to make the corner, and I'm concentrating on keeping the truck from hitting the trailer tongue. AND I FORGOT TO LOOK AT THE AZZ END OF THE TRAILER TO SEE WHERE IT WAS.

K'kins is shouting at me, and I'm doing my best to ignore her

    ALL OF A SUDDEN...................WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

It didn't stall the truck,, but the trailer moved sideways a skosh.............................

Now ya can see why I recommend rub rails to all those folks who wanna build a trailer. This wound up just being a bit of paint transfer, but it coulda been ugly without that rail.

OLD AGE SUCKS I'm losin' my mojo

I get all teared up looking at your damage!
For God's sake! I'd say nothing, wait until next extra son "borrows" the trailer, then point it out.

    Re: Trailer fail pics

If the date stamps on my old pics are right........I put the final coat of paint on the ol' gal back in 2014 sometime in the Spring when I got done makin' it. AND NOT ONE STINKIN' SCRATCH OVER ALL THOSE YEARS

BTW..............for the absolute best equipment paint ya can buy......go with Van Sickle. I use it on everything, and some of the stuff is over 20yrs old, and still lookin' good.

    Re: Trailer fail pics

    More on geezerdom.............

We ran outta toilet paper just as this Covid thing started. Bad timing.

We were in Wally World about a few weeks in, and things were getting real desperate. I mean, we were one roll away from using leaves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K'kins was on the next aisle, and I spotted A 24 ROLL PACK OF ANGEL SOFT (at least I think it was that big, dunno) The MEGA rolls.

Grabbed that sucker, and we thought we were in hog heaven.

About 2 days into using this stuff............I figured I'd made a mistake. THAT STUFF IS LIKE USIN' SANDPAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And ya gotta use a half roll to keep yer fingers from breakin' through.

K'kins was a non-commital TP user when we met. Anything would do. SHE LAUGHED AT ME FOR USIN' CHARMIN.

After a bit, she came around (I have this effect on wimmen)

We both been cryin' the Blues since we bought that stuff. AND WE FINALLY USED THE LAST ROLL ABOUT 2 DAYS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Back to Charmin

Life's too short to treat Uranus bad
