Yeah, about 8K for the Bobcat alone plus the grapple bucket. Then there's the 2K for the trailer. Assuming it is a 7K trailer not a 10K one he's over weight. Even at 10K he's borderline.
He's also got it loaded way too far forward from the looks of the front tires. He needs the weight back about a foot or so farther to the rear at least to load the trailer equally. Grapple ought to be in the empty flat bed.
Not sure how you put those axles at 3.5K vs 5K or 6K. Lug count? I've seen 7K , 10K, 12K and 14K trailers that all look almost exactly like that. The 12's and 14's around here are almost nonexistant since they started cracking down on drivers of stuff like that without a class A license around here. Everyone I knew who used to have them dumped them and went to 10K trailers so their guys didn't need to get the full class A license ( especially since the DOT won't let you take the class A test with a rig like what is shown even though you need the license for one..) If they needed a heavy trailer they usually just went up to bigger tagalongs in the 20K range and were done with it.
