When my boss gives me a drawing, and I'm 10 minutes from finished. then he hands me another drawing and says the project manager and engineer changed this three days ago I just found out.

That's strange, ups usually just drops everything and runs. Even when a signature is required.

.....people who fart in the lift.....not loudly, but those sneaky ones that hang in the air after they leave.......worse than that is those that fart going up a long escalator...and you are stacked up on the down side going up.

My farts don't stink....strewth I wouldn't lie....they use to, but since I stopped eating tons of meat my farts stopped smelling...they still have lots of sound....nothing like a good fart to clear a room, that rotten egg sulphur dioxide smell that makes your eyes water....LOL.

Steel supply stores that don't have prices on anything. There is one not too far from me that has a very large selection of all kinds of stuff (welding supplies, tools, paint, PPE, pipe fittings, etc) but not a single price tag...

That's 'cause the high volume regular customer usually gets a good discount and the once-in-a-while walk in doesn't. Sneaky. Posted price would mess up that scam.

You need to pick up a couple of items at the store, and you're in a hurry. They have one "Express Checkout Lane"...10 items or less. The person in front of you has a basket piled so high they can barely see over it...........ARRGGGGHHHHHH!!!! Where are the LANE POLICE???????

I've dealt with that scenario in the wholesale computer parts business. The easy solution is to put the higher price on the item and volume customers know what their discount percentage is.

    Re: Got A Gripe?

I HATE.......without any degree of remorse those price tags that say "special offer this week end only $99.99"....or any other price tag that stops short of the next dollar by one cent.

In OZ we stopped using 1 and 2 cent coins a few years ago, and the lowest coin is 5 cents, and the bastards also stop short with prices like $19,999.95 for a bleeding new car, but you pay a lot more just to get it on the road.

I religiously stand my ground and wait when a shop keeper has to give me 5 cents change when the price is sort by that magic 5 cents......just to be a bloody arsehole.

There is a local battery store that cuts open batteries and replaces bad cells. Maybe there is one by you?

    Re: Got A Gripe?

Once again to the breach.......I hate those shopping trolleys that you have to stick a $2 coin in to use it and when you're done you can't find a trolley bay near you to get the money back, so you have to push the trolley all the way back to the store.....in the rain too.....it used to be 20 cents and the kids would beat each other to take your trolley back to get the 20 cents....and above all else I hate shopping trolleys that get damaged wheels and steer the damm thing into the side of the isles while you wrestle with it.

Above all else, and without any exception I DETEST WITH A PATHOLOGICAL HATRED all the TV shows that keep sumarising the content of the previous ten minutes that preceded the 5 minute long commercial break......the Mythbusters have this to a fine art and can make a ten minute show last for an hour before they break or prove a myth.
