    175 square wave

What are these things worth. It is just the power unit no leads or tig equipment. I have not seen it powered up yet I plan on taking some leads with me to give it a try.

    Thanks

I have recently seen SW175s with a TIG torch, Argon regulator and hose, Amtrol pedal, and the other bits it came "out of the crate" with selling in the $900 to $1000 area.

For just the welder power source itself, with none of the above, I personally wouldn't offer more than $500 if it was in excellent condition. A torch, pedal and regulator ain't going to be cheep!

    Great machine, though!

I have a complete one set up for TIG only using a Lincon pedal. I use it all the time. I even leased it to a guy I used to work for. Ultimately paying for the machine.

It works great used within it's capacity. Great for hotrodders (me)

Currently I just got a used 10k/12k surge generator that I'm planning on mounting in my truck. The welder will go in my trailer for portablility. These things take a lot of power out of the wall so you need a big generator. Hopefully I can test it this week.

I bought my 175 SQ Tig at auction for $700 plus tax and buyer premium had everything except a tank and pedal. was set with an on off button on the torch. picked up a fingetip amp control off ebay for $40 and added it to the existing torch. works fine. after some research it seemed that finger control was a good idea if you are not constantly working at a table....
