its simple really - a foot pedal only consists of a reastat or however you spell it - one can buy one down at your local electronic store or order off the internet.....real simple but Kudos on the project

Just something to consider...I recently added a pedal to an older lincoln buzzbox, bought the pedal off ebay for about $45 since it was originally purposed for a chinese machine.

I did have to replace the potentiometer in it, but it was less than a half hour labor and a <$6 part from radio shack to do so.

My next foot pedal will be made with a throttle pedal from an old 950B loader. A massive heavy cast iron unit. Hafta post a pic, , , , ,
