That's intersting. I'd asked George Swire for help when embarking upon the reverse engineering exercise, specifically offering to buy defective boards from him to avoid dissecting my functional unit. Regrettably he indicated he would rather trash defective boards than provide them to me. I offered to restrict the schematic from public availability suspecting a conflict with his side business was a concern, but received no response. In general with such projects it is in the best interest of all concerned to support the effort, particularly if you expect to benefit form the work. Unfortunately it is a proposition enforced by the honor system alone.
Also note while I've made this document available via the URL provided with the hope it is of benefit to owners of the machine, it is protected under US Copyright Law. Specifically unauthorized redistribution is prohibited as is clearly stated in the document. That's the reason access is controlled via the web interface as each schematic download is logged and the schematic itself generated unique per request.
