Adding a full kva plug to a bobcat 225g?

    Hello my name is Frank,

I couldn't find any information on the forum so correct me if I'm being redundant with respect to previous posts. I am having a hard time finding the kit 042 303 to add a 240 plug to my older bobcat 225g. Is it possible to do this without the kit?

I don't know what model BC you have(must be real old), but all the ones I have seen have the 240V plug in right up front on the control panel, factory installed. It is an L-50 receptacle,40 amp output.

    Yes it is.

My 1996 Bobcat 225g didn't have the type of 240 plug that I wanted. I think it had 2 duplex sockets side by side on the faceplate. I removed them and put a regular 240 socket in mine.

Did you accomplish this without the kit Miller offers? Also do you have full output?
