    Miller plasma wiring

I just purchased a miller spectrum plasma cutter, I planned on running it off of my bobcat generator. I got my filer and separator finally connected and the durn 220 volt plug is different on the plasma than it is on the welder. Duhh. I even told the salesman what I had planned on doing. I would like to know if there is a conversion adapter or just change the plug end on the plasma.

home depot should sell both parts. However up here in Canada Tractor Supply Company sells the nice female 6-50r plugs with a rubber boot that look like normal extension cord ends. Just a thought.

Most Electrical supply places do not stock or even know what a 6-50 Connector is.

Connector is the Female part of the extension cord. These are different than wall mount
    6-50R ( R = receptacle)

You could probably use one of those but they're not designed for it.

    You need
1- 4-wire range replacement cord- this will have the 14-50 Plug on the end
    1- 6-50r wall mount

    or

    1- 4-wire Range cord
    1- 6-50c
