I have the same hood, but mine looks better. Makes me look like I'm moving fast when I'm standing still. Besides, you painted over the Miller Logo. I have since painted the frame around the lense the same as the stripes, just don't have a picture of it on here.

The stripes are in fact, straight. The crookedness you are referring to is due to the contours of the hood itself. They intentionally taper to the rear of the hood, too. I can also PROPERLY spell helmet, there is no N in helmet. But, anyway welcome to Welding Web. Maybe you will be OK despite the rocky start.

i don't spell real good it's just a dam hood it's going to get messed up anyway it just look cool

i cant imagine a home-made paint job lasting as long as the graphics on my stock miller lid.
That depends on the products used and how well you do the prep. Back in my painting days our shop painted a bunch of plastic football helmets pro bono for a local high school. I shot them in a dark green metallic to match the school colors. The helmets were washed down twice with reducer to eliminate the mold release agents and then wet sanded by hand with 360 grit wet/dry sandpaper followed by 400 grit. I used a clear plastic primer topcoated with a polyurethane treated with a flex agent.... it's over 30 yrs ago and I forget which paint I used but I'm thinking it was Imron. I saw those helmets years later and they were still looking very good. My Hobart AD came black with flames from the factory so I've never got back into customizing my welding helmets. I think the frog/flame camouflage looks great... well done.

Not my thing exactly, but I think you did a nice job!
I like the fact that the Miller logo is now subtle.
As others have mentioned though, learn how to use your spellcheck feature. This is not meant as an insult, just a suggestion from a high school dropout retired farmer.
Ya to each there own..I know a lot of welders and fabricators do "describe" themselves by their hood. Most of the time us off road fabricator just paint our with stickers.. Here mine..
