    Wire feeder attachment

I have a Lincoln idealarc 250 that I'd like to have a wire feeder for. What should I be looking for,or should I buy a wire feed machine?

Buy a real MIG welder or a CV power source with a feeder. A VS feeder will operate off your machine, but you'll won't be very happy with its performance with small diameter solid wires. The CC arc will be harsh and the bead will look rough. It won't weld thin materials well either.

    IMHO of course
