    30xp -fine cut and 220

I bought a 30xp a few months ago and haven't used it too much yet but what little I have it's really made me happy for my purchase.
I was cutting some 16 gauge and wanted to make a finer cut so put in the fine cut components and it worked great.
I left the unit plugged in to my 220 while doing this.
Afterwards I was looking in the manual and I see where it says that when using the fine cut consumables you should only use 110 volt input.
    Is this true?
If I set the voltage adjustment proper for 16 gauge won't the output at the torch be the same regardless of whether I'm running off 220 or 110?

I didn't see any damage but I didn't run it that way much either.
    Thanks

I just got one about a month ago. I haven't used the fine cut consumables yet, but I did read that in the manual as well. Not sure with any luck jimcolt will chime in and let us know.

The table heading on page 36 is evidently a misprint, it should read "240V/30A". The unit probably won't deliver 30A to the arc with 125V input. Look at the bottom of page 45.

(BTW I use the FineCut kit on my 30XP with 240V input all the time, and indeed, it works great!)

The converse (using standard consumables at 125V input) is what is specifically NOT recommended.

    Ok.
Looked at the online manual from Hypertherm's web site and it does state that with 220 input either standard or fine cut consumables can be used.
At 110 volt input only fine cut should be used.
    That makes sense.
Just doesn't agree with my printed manual.

FYI Your 30xp plasma has no Voltage adjustment, only a Amp knob.
