    Lincoln welders

    where would the best place (cheapest) to get a Lincoln SAE 200, 300 or what are the glory years of the lincoln machines? like the dodge 24valve cummins is the golden engine for dodge. which is the "golden years" where lincoln produced the best SA 200, 300's?

    Any experienced hand will tell you that the real magic happens between the shoulder and the holder.

    Just about any of the old Lincs can be tuned to run well on the ROW.

    Most ppl prefer round barrel machines, but the aluminum ones can do the job just fine too.

    I'm odd man out tho, just give me a Vantage 500 and I won't complain

    yeah I'm a big fan of the redface and just the classic old style look in general. but what would be a good number of hours to catch one at?

    This welder has the biggest boner I have ever seen!

    Look at it, it's almost a double boner!

    They didnít come with hour meters, so no way to tell how many hours on them. In your neck of the woods, SA-200s sell very high. Here in the North West they just about give them away. I paid $200.00 for this one.

    I guarantee it didn't look like that when he bought it!

    That thing looks like it just came off the factory floor!

    Probably run you quite a bit more than $6k, too.
