    Hobart Fabstar 4030

I have been looking on Craigslist for a mig welder and I have stumbled across a Hobart Fabstar 4030. I would like to know what some of you think about it. Does it have good duty cycle? What kind of metal could you weld with it? What is the quality of the welder like? I would just like to know some information on it, because it looks like it would be worth $500, but I want to hear some more opinions. Thank you.

It's a 3 phase machine, so if you don't have 3 phase electric service, not such a good deal.
I have converted a few older 3 phase welders to run on single phase but not sure if this one is easily converted.

I think the 240 outlet in the garage may be 3 phase. I will have to check, Thank you for the advise!
