No bud, not unless you enjoy pushing it while its doing figure 8's. We have hydraulic tables like that and they are annoying to move. They never go where you want.

I built this using a 3 wheel cart ( in red) I bought from a co-worker for $10. The blue part is a Harbor Freight cart I cut the wheel holders off. I then welder a piece of 1/4" plate to the 3 wheel cart and bolted the Harbor Freight cart on it. Top is a thermal Arc 211I and the covered welder is a Lincoln SP-100.

Don't have the Lincoln SP175 anymore. There is a HF TIG welder in it's place now. And 2 bottles of welding gas, 72/25 & Argon. And a small bottle of acetylene behind the Century stick welder.

I you ever want to triple your money on the 3 wheel cart I'm your guy to call. I have a 250 Idealarc that would ride nicely on that.

I'm in the process of building my first cart and learning to tig weld at the same time. Every tack on this cart was tigged. I still need to get some sheet metal for the shelves and install some hangers and bottle strapping.

Nothing like a re-purposed shopping cart. I started by only wanting the wheels...but got lazy. New Hobart 211MVP on the cart with C25 mix. Snow plowed killed the cart last year, so the basket was cut off. Can't argue with free.

Post them up! Any type, any size, any machine. If you want to do a build thread, create a separate one & post the finished product here.

ANY brand of machine is welcome. ANY level of fabrication skill is ok. Of course, constructive comments or ideas for improvements, etc are just fine. Any posts critical of import machines, cheap shots, bashes, etc will be deleted and appropriate action taken.

Okay I'm way out of my league, but here is my pitiful effort at putting wheels on my little green toad. Despite having a wood drawer, my only consolation is asking you guys where do you put your stuff like tips, nozzles, cups, tungsten and circle guides?. I got tired of things laying around and falling off the top of my welders so I built in the equivalent of a kitchen junk drawer on my cart

If you'll look close you'll see my other carts are painted. It's just that I normally use flat black. I decided to fancy this one up a little.

Thanks. In truth I ran out of paint before finishing the drawers. The insides are only primed.

Repurposed "Sun Analyzer" from the 60s. made a compartment door for the Argon. this will be for the "tig".
