    Welding Glasses?

Do not use any type of goggles/glasses for Mig, Tig, Stick- you need a full face shield. The UV light given off by the electric welding process will burn your face

Goggles are allowed for Gas welding because it doesn't give off the harmful UV rays.

That's why I asked, what auto darkening helmet do you recommend. Probably around 75 to 100 dollars I see Harbor Frieght has a few and the reviews are pretty good.

Those will do. I started with one and it served me well of a few years until I wanted a much bigger viewing area.

I still have it as a back up.

You may find that with low amp (5-20) tig not all auto helmets work .

The Harbor Freight hoods "work", but they're pretty subpar. I'd look at getting a used hood from Craigslist and putting an Arcone drop in filter in it.
