Hey guys,
For those looking for work, there are quite a few positions here in SW PA. Bear in mind that the wages here are a bit lower than many other places, although the cost of living is a bit less. I do see that rates have increased a bit to the $15-25/hr & some are open with test requirements. There are pipeline jobs also. Here's a list. Hope it may help someone.....

wow, does 5+ years experience in MIG/TIG/stick seriously qualify for just $14-17... or is it just that part of the country?

Hey Blau,
It's probably mainly the part of the country as the northeast is much lower in wages than other parts. The cost of living here where I am is not bad & thus reflected in wages. I wanted to post these just in case maybe just one person may be at a point they NEED a job. Most of these positions are probably shop positions, so conditions would be decent & I'm sure a good, productive weldor, would merit raises. Also, there are many machining positions, manual/CNC, that are listed & they have comparable starting wages. I know these positions are wage negotiable because of the demand, so don't let an initial listing or offer be a detriment to finding work if one really needs a job.

PAY $34HR.

RIG PAY $15HR.

WE ALSO NEED 3 HELPERS ......PAYING $15 PER HR AND 100 A DAY PER DIEM.
