    Is it rain or shine?

Plenty of parking and plenty of room under roof so it is rain or shine. I think DSW is bringing a supplemental tent too. Never thought about it but if there is some sort of an extreme weather event... like a tornado... BD1's house is on the property and he does have a concrete basement.

I'll see what happens. I like just went to work for a guy who does furniture and other high end stuff. I picked up a dishwashing job a few days a week too, but I could probably get time off there as long as I let them know soon. Financially, I just dunno if it'll be feasible or not. I haven't had steady work in over a year and a half. I'm about working seven days a week now and the furniture guy is buried in backlog that need to go out the door.

I'll probably know more in a week or two. Frankly, I'm down for as much work as I can get right now.

EQ- I would have gotten back with you sooner about this, but I just saw this tonite.

Hopefully it will work out so I can come.

Careful there Steve. You see what happened to Zap when he decided to go down to Hatteras instead of waiting a couple of weeks and joining us all out in Illinois. Now he's stuck in the Roach Motel for the holiday weekend... Since Zap didn't want to come play, EQ probably sewed up a Zapster voodoo doll and has been holding it under the shower so it would rain on his parade! She probably even raised a special chicken to guarantee it's effectiveness.

Too busy with my Dad and bunny shows to sew anything until after the holidays. Must admit I'm liking the idea of a voodoo doll but certainly not for zapster. Now.... there is one rabbit judge me and quite a few others would really like to see work FASTER. Sheeesh.... the guy is really one of the best of the best but slower than molasses.... maybe if we made up a special doll for him we could all take turns poking it in the butt at the next show so all of us could get home before midnight.

7A749> By the way.... two years ago before the proverbial crap hit the fan when you were planning a Weldorama, I bought a little "hostess" gift I had intended to bring to you when I drove out your way based on posts you authored that I had read regarding your tastes in booze. I just ran across it so.... consider it 7A749 Northeastern IL Weldorama BAIT. If you are able to make it out our way, it's yours... if not... you'll have to wait to get it until you're in a position to have a Weldorama out your way. It's aged to 11 years now instead of 9. I know.... I'm positively evil aren't I. Tee he.

Both Steves were unaware, of course, since they normally ride in the back, in the really big coach seats.

    Equilibrium,
7A749 asked me to pick up the bottle for him. I'll see that he gets it.

The Weldoramas always sound like a great learning opportunity for us amateurs. Especially the tig clinics. Tips, tricks, and watching how a true professional does it. Probably nerve wracking to have someone looking over your shoulder, but an effective way to get rid of some bad habits.
    Someday my stars will align.

If you're in a position to come from where ever Big Sky Country is... presumably out west somewhere, I've got plenty of spare bedrooms at our house. The only thing you'd need to bring would be a folding chair of some sort.... we're short on those.

I dunno... I'm going to have to look each one up to see what they are. DSW is bringing a forge with him and a welding machine but I don't recall what type. BD1 has a welding machine but I don't know the details on what he has. Maybe vwguy3 might be able to suggest what you should bring?

zapster> "After reading all this I guess its a good thing to stay away..." Not necessarily so!!! The fellowship will be great and everyone coming will be well fed. I was just PMing someone else that I cook a lot better than I weld which is a really good thing for those who are in a position to stop in.

That's awfully kind of you! I sure would love to come and take it off your hands.

I quit drinking five years ago tho I'm thinking BD1 might be able to make good use of it

Likely won't be able to make it. After further research, it turns out you're a lot further from me than I originally thought. As much as I would like to, I just don't think I'm gonna be able to

7A749> Ha ha ha.... you must have been joking about what you liked to drink in those threads I read when I first joined. Totally understand though since we don't drink much more than a glass of wine during the holidays and on special occasions like a wedding. One of our boys will GLADLY take that Knob Creek off our hands and actually, one of them was eyeballing it last Thanksgiving to use in a bourbon cake recipe of all things... admittedly.... the other 4 were eyeballing your bottle to drink it. Incidentally, I gave BD1 a bottle of something or other and then offered him another bottle and that's when I found out he drinks about as much Stella beer as we drink wine but hey.... the bottle will look great in his welded horse shoe art!!!
