Seeking skilled fabricator- Read and build to shop and architectural drawings. Design, set up, and tool for production, and custom fabrication. Must have verifiable record of building metalwork to 1/16" accuracy in 12'. Work in steel, cast iron, S.S., bronze, brass, copper, zinc, aluminum, etc. We do ornamental, architectural, and structural work from our 20,000 sq. ft. shop in Orange, NJ 10 miles from NYC.
Must be highly proficient with TIG, MIG, brazing and soldering. Prior Welding certification desirable.
We also do machining with lathes, milling machines, punching and stamping, sand and centrifugal casting, heat treating, abrasive media blasting, bending, blacksmith work, patination and finishing. Tool and die design, jig set ups for production, and machinery operation. Blacksmith and pneumatic hammer forging of custom parts. Knowledge of some of these operations, metallurgy and metal selection, metal tempering and annealing, patination, and finishing desirable.
We custom fabricate and restore architectural metalwork, doors, windows, and hardware for new and historic buildings . Good mechanical aptitude essential.
