Axle anchor

Gentlemen,

Moto is making a rock anchor. It is commonly used on the Columbia because of the fast current and rocky bottom. The ball on the line is used to lift the anchor up when pulling anchor vs dragging the anchor along the bottom. there is supposed to be a gripper that attaches the ball to the line that will prevent the ball from sliding up the line when a load is applied. Similar to some tool hanging wracks, or sailing rope cams. This prevents the anchor from dropping down and catching again after it's been dislodged from the bottom. I've never ventured out on to the columbia in a boat as small as Moto's inflatable, but I have used similar anchors and ball systems many times fishing for sturgeon.

The ball is also for safety when a big wake come.also helps with high current becuase it put some of the stress and load on the ball
