I've got one of those little 1-ton Dake presses and it's not worth diddly! Don't know if it'd actually flatten a pan bottom without a 4' cheater bar and a whole lot of cussing!!

I use mine for forming and bending parts too.
Handy to have in the shop

Forgot about the pot being on the stove Boiled it dry

K'kins got home, and took one look, and it was out to the shop. The pot no longer was able to sit flat on the burner grate because the heat had warped the bottom, and bowed it. She decided this was unacceptable, this bein' a nice Revere Ware pot.

Gently "bumped" it back to shape, and all's good again. I got to sleep in the house

I had one several years ago & I made the mistake of selling it.

It needs a good cleaning & a new paint job! But I got it cheap due to it's condition & it needed the arm repaired.

The new pick is a much better arbor press. The ratcheting mechanism is a nice upgrade.

I'd prefer a ratchet setup too.
