    Lincoln Port-A-Torch Oxy Tank Certification???

So got my Lincoln O/A Port-A-Torch setup today. The acetylene tank is DOT certified and the Ox tank is ISO 9809-1 certified. No DOT. Am I going to be able to get the Oxy tank exchanged???

ISO is backward compatible to DOT.
Any welding supply that knows which way is up will not even blink.
I bought the same torch outfit and my local welding supply swapped the cylinders without question.

Perfect!! Thank you. I basically have AirGas and Praxair here in the Madison, WI area. While a couple of welding shops also, but pretty sure they just use AirGas and Praxair for their supplies.

Well I ultimately was able to swap the tanks for $34 for both. Not bad.

Great newer family / veteran owned welding supply in Madison = Mississippi Welders Supply. Great company. Give them a try.
