powermax 1000 power

is there an advantage of using 208 3 phase over 220 single phase to power a powermax 100 plasma cutter? i have both available .

Cut quality , cut speed and cut thickness are all the same at different input power levels. Duty cycle is slightly higher when operating on higher single phase as well as 3 phase input voltage. Jim Colt
