    Victor/Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 102

I purchased this from auction for my shop and have come to the realization it is just too big for the use I need it for. Most of the work I do with a plasma is thin sheetmetal/body panels, with nothing over 1/4". This is just a little overkill and I could use the money for other things going on in the shop.

Unit works good. I had an issue when first wiring it up it was not recognizing the correct voltage, but some fiddling with the voltage input switch and it was able to recognize the 240V. Previous shop had it wired for 480V, I am currently running it from 1 Phase 240V. It pulls 98A (I think) at full load, but I have it only wired to a 50A plug so never go above about 1/4 power.

I also purchased a new consumables kit for it as the torch was a little beat up. This evening I plan to go out and clean it up a bit as well as put the new consumables on the torch. It is under power in my shop and you're welcome to test it. I'd really prefer local pick up as it is pretty heavy. I am in Raleigh NC. I'd like to get $1000 for it (I spent $170 on the consumables kit alone).

How about $920 for WW members. prefer local on this, but might be able to ship it if it is sitting in another few weeks.

These big cutters are really designed/intended to be run on higher voltage 3phase power.

I am willing to ship this now for anyone interested. I get a good rate on fedex through work so could probably ship it for <$75 anywhere in the US.

Man I wish I would have seen this before I bought my Bobcat. If you got in another month or so I will ride up and get it from you.

Happy to take a down payment on it if you're serious

Dang that machine looks like a beast! I could run that on my 30HP phase converter! Sweet deal for who ever picked/picks it up!
