Well this is certainly Other.. Stick'tig unit

Found a Italian Stick/tig unit on Amazon for cheap.. There was only two around this price. Another member picked up the other one.. It is only 240 volts input, but has a lot of nice features. I paid $179.00 for mine.. Real 3 year warranty too.. It weighs 8 pounds, and has a better tig duty-cycle then a Esab 161, little less on stick. 140 amps Stick, and 150 tig.. Basic stick, tig with no amphenol fitting.. Does have a bit of programming though.. Lift-arc tig, with adjustable up-slope, Standard stick type, Aluminum stick,6010 type,Adjustable Hot start, adjustable Arc force, VRD timer, Meters, Programmable for genny size, auto sleep, power off modes. It's one of the nicest little stick welding machines I have used.

Anybody Know what brand machine I picked up? No it's not a HTP/Stel. Pics later..

    Jim,
that bought the other one ,has a Esab 161, and my old Thermal-arc TS-160 (full featured Sanrex Pee Wee) to compare his to. I am sure he will post up what he thinks of his when it shows.

There was one other Member here that kind of clued into this deal, but there was only two, and I let Jim in on it early if he did not snipe the first one from me..
Generally I like posting for all members to get a amazon deal, Like the 60i, and Lorch machines. This one was so limited that after I bought mine, it went up to over a grand. Jim had to wait for the Amazonian drop game..

Scott, I have been so busy I dont keep up on the deals. But I know what it is, and wish I could have snagged one. Maybe I will just keep my eyes in the sky and maybe I will get a line on one someday. Best I can do for the hint...

Looks like Chris was on to this one too..

The warranty card is in English, and a phone # is there to call them.. Looks like everything goes back to the factory for repair.

Like you Jim, we have both gambled way more $$ on used machines I will be interested to what you think of the arc on this thing..

Here is the Link for the machine..I have been impressed since the two little skyline 33 plasma machines I have owned. Wish I had one now, but can't complain on what I have now either.

God, I was gonna say INE. Too late now .

I too, have scored a used ESAB stick machine yesterday. Wasn't planning on it, but the price was very good at $200 considering the machine cost north of $2500 new.

Good deal on the Esab. Ft control is a can bus, so forget about a deal there. If it's just your stick machine, that good machine for sure.

GREAT deal, wish I could have snagged one!

Machine looks nice, INE has been known for good wire forever, and italians make nice machines.

ine got here a couple of hours ago,,many thanks Scott its a real fine machine, haven't tiged with it yet but ran a quite a few 3/32 7018s also some 6010s in cellulose mode didn't get into the arc force or any features left it in default seems dialed in there to me....very smooth with 7018 for what ever reason shiny welds and the flux just pretty much jumps off on its own.stable arc make running up hill a breeze. I also lucked out works equally as nice off the gen,,that's the old Wacker with the Northern Head..

    Jim,
as you know my welder will not even turn on with my Japan made Generator. The freq's and Voltages are perfect, but the INE Skyline 1500 sees something it does not like with my generator..I am guessing the 6 % distortion is a bit outside of what the machine likes. It runs fine on my friends much cheaper made B&S 8000 watt model. The INE plasma cutters I had did the exact same thing.. All my other machine run off of the MQ-6000 except my Lorch/Esab 220. It throws a code on Startup, and that code is not even in the manual. Since the INE can run on a 500 ft power line, guess I will go that way if needed. Champion has a nice open frame inveter that might really be my bet option for portable work with the INE..The INE is fully programmable for generator size.. I have a little beat around 90 amp 120 volt stick achine showing up, and will run that on my generator. It's a upgraded Klutch like yours, and for $124.99 pretty good deal. I am a big fan of Klutch machines overall. There is even $10 gift card code on it now..

I was just looking for a cheap China /etc 240 volt stick unit to have to kick around, and the INE popped up.. Saved enough to get a 120 volt unit in the mix.. Just don't want to beat up my little Thermal 86s, since it's my oldest unit I own, and mint..

I used every type rod I had laying around here. You cannot put out a 6010 rod if you tried. I did too.. Great machine, and tig is very smooth also.

Re: Well this is certainly Other.. Stick'tig unit

I got to run it some hours today putting together a cart 3/32 7018 work real well used it off household current ,,,this is way to nice for a throw around as i first thought id use it for,,lift arc is great super smooth on the low end messed with it on 18 gauge and 1/8,,will work well for body panels ,,probably end up using the little esab for portable this one is of a higher quality..

yes I noticed too in CEL mode 6010 rocks ,, havnt tried the other rods 7014,309 and that yet,,,still in factory default too

look forward to hear what you think of the New Klutch

Showed up today..Ran it for a while. The Hobart 3/32 7018 rod was having issues starting.. I think it's a bad batch, because I had some 1/8 Lincoln rods that started fine..The rest of the rod types I have ran well.. I am going to clean up some metal, and run some more tomorrow. Probably run it beside the Little Thermal to do a back to back.. Output is the 90 amps rated and does not get warm using rod after rod.. Anyway should be a good throw in my car rig, and run anywhere. The weight is 7 pounds, so light enough.
The machine fits in the INE box well, so side bonus. The INE will be the go to stick machine here, so storing the Klutch in the case is a good setup for grab, and go.I added a 10 ft work lead to match the stick lead..

That Klutch needs to go on a diet so it can be as small as the other two. If they keep making these things smaller I will end up like you and have multiples of every type of welder, oh wait I do, just don't have enough room to use them!

Re: Well this is certainly Other.. Stick'tig unit

It is on a the low cost diet. So $124.99 with a real 3 year warranty, will allow me to eat till the end of the month. I really don't need this unit, but until I get my generator sorted,I am not going to plug in the little thermal to it.. Those 85s Pee-Wee Sanrex machines were over $500 when they first came out.. Funny, it's the lightest /smallest version Sanrex has built It's over 20 years old now.. The contactor on-off switch is nice when you just want to kill the leads, and not turn the machine on, and off all the time..It has a multi-speed fan that runs on slow/ quiet mode most the time..I thought the fan was broke when I first got it, and had to put my ear up to it to hear it run..

The Thermal PeeWee is my oldest machine I own. Always made the cut, and still will..
