    Continental F 163 help

Just resealed the oil pan. Engine didnt want to turn over very easily. Went back and checked main cap and connecting rod caps. All are good. Motor spins freely. When I go to but the lower horse shoe on that holds the rear main gasket that is what locks up the motor. Has anyone seen this? Any help would be appreciated
