Question Ranger 225 Auto Idle staying at full throttle

Have a Ranger 225 and love this welder. Always starts and performs flawlessly. Lately it doesn't idle down. I'd appreciate suggestions as to what might be going on. I have a pigtail that I run my Plazma cutter hooked up to. Wondering if unplugging that might allow the auto idle to work. Appreciate this forum and the people who post here.

Any current draw on the ac power plugs will keep the welder at high speed. Also make sure the idle switch is in auto.
I would lock the welder in high idle when using the plugs for plasma and other high tech units.

I'll try that. I have been running the welder on the highest output when running the plasma torch and it seems to work very well. I have yet to unplug it and then test the idler, but will do so soon. Thanks for your inout.
