Where is the contact info not correct? The contact us link in the footer of every page emails me directly. I have not heard of any 404s, are you trying to access links from your email that are older?

As ronsii suggested, please provide links to any thread you have issues with and we'll look into it.

    cheers,

502 on the pic thread https://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthrea...11#post8756411

What is really weird is I viewed the post on my phone(android w/chrome) in full site mode earlier just after N2's post.... but now it won't show up on the phone(same settings also tried mobi settings((neither worked))) or my office computer win/firefox???

I can spoof this computer as an Iphone X and see the page but I am not sure why I could see it a few minutes after N2's post but not 45 minutes after that??? one difference may be the 'like' N2 put on my post...

    Yep, came right up.

Necxt time I'll try a test post myself from a different comp or spoofed comp, At first I thought it had to do with the 'like'from N2 but I see that was 7 minutes before he posted.... but now I see he edited his post I'm guessing after I saw it the first time... so what ever the edit was seems to have been the 502trigger... maybe???

I found where the contact information was incorrect and have fixed it. If you can PM me the email address that you used for your previous account, I can try to find it for you.

    Re: 502 Bad Gateway

Odd... I've never had a problem with this but now I can't get into the "One pic a week" thread in the off topic unless I open it at page 1. If I try to go in from my "likes" list, it gives me the 502 Bad Gateway. Try to flip to the last page and it goes to 502 again.

Just now clicked that twice, in your 04-21-2020 post. Both times just an error message, nothing more:

Yeah, RobbM moved the thread to make it work again... he moved it in the database so that link will not work I think the post after that one has a ink to the new (same) thread.

EDIT: well it was quite a few posts later ---> https://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthrea...-drill-to-size

    Re: 502 Bad Gateway

    Another strangeness.

In my Subscribed Threads, clicking on the 'show unread' icon for
    'HF tools that don't suck'

I see only one unread post in recent weeks, today, but it's by a different poster than was shown in the right column. Then I look at this unexpected poster's recent posts, and see he made a different post today into that thread. WTH?

    Re: 502 Bad Gateway

Sometimes the poster in the list will lag behind the actual posters in the thread... the HF don't suck thread had N2 and fnord in there today fairly close to each other if you check your unread list a few minutes later you'd see fnord as the last one... but it could be 5 or more minutes later - all depends on the scheduling of the updates in the VB settings.

Thanks, updates lagging reality is understandable.

However - just now clicking the tiny blue icon in front of the thread title took me to this 10/2019 page
    https://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthrea...98#post8761898

and then clicking the tiny blue icon after most recent poster (fnord, 3 hours ago) took me again to that same 10/2019 page.

Looking at my Subscribed list (using a different tab) while typing this, those blue icons are still blue, 'unread', and clicking one still goes to 10/2019.

I'm not concerned about missing something, HF isn't that important. But my observations make me think something isn't working right.

    Re: 502 Bad Gateway

Update 3 hours later: Now nothing will show me the recent posts in the HF thread. Everything I've tried goes to the 10/2019 page I mentioned above.

I tried my Subscribed, HF forum index, link in the history of the most recent poster there, links from Today's Posts, even the highest page number listed for HF in Today's Posts, all fail and go to 10/29.

So this link ---> https://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthrea...-t-suck/page39 doesn't take you to page #39 of the thread???

Takes me to page 24, post #921. Same page as described above. But what I see in the URL box above that page, is the precise text that you provided. 'page 39' - while the page it landed on says it is page 24.

    Added:

Here, I'll create a link to show you what I see: Here's a Link to post #921, the first post on that page.

I tried scrolling to the bottom of that page and I see 'page 24 of 24' with no right arrow to call a subsequent page.

I always enter WW via the following in a Firefox taskbar icon. Could this be starting me down the wrong rabbithole?
    https://weldingweb.com/vbb/subscription.php

Another experiment. I simply put weldingweb.com in my destination field then scrolled down to HF and clicked the icon next to fnord's name, the most recent post. No improvement, that sent me to the top of page 24 also.

    That's weird....

Have you tried logging out of welding web then logging back in?

Departed, and logged back in 30 seconds later. Same result. Logged out for 3 hours, returned, no change. Still goes to page 24.

    Exorcism due?

That's a strange one???? I tried that thread with a few different platforms and couldn't get that thread to misbehave... what exactly are you using to view it? and do you have other devices you could try?

Hopefully RobbM, pops in and can take a look
