    Syncrowave 250 mod

I dont like the idea of frying my torch from forgetting to turn the cooler on, and dont want the cooler running while arc welding.
I followed the voltage that turns the "tig" mode led on and where its 5 volts (the 3v that runs the led wont work) tapped into it to run a ssr to turn on the pump plug on the welder.

Some ssr might not like induction motors, not sure as I am running a dc pump and pid controlled fan for my cooler

Not sure but it looks like a DC power supply near the pump you can use a SSR to turn input power to the DC power supply on/off with no problems

I know, I'm switching the plug on the welder, which has the cooler plugged into.

Just pointing out there might need to be some thinking before hooking an induction motor to this style setup

My Syncrowave 250 has a switched outlet built in.

Mine unfortunately only turned the cooler on whenever the welder was on.
Now it's only on when in tig mode

just use the post flow timer. contacts in it can drive two valve coils. why not one more relay. relay can switch anything you need. turn on with torch switch and stay on for how long timer is set for.

The post flow timer wont work for me because I need the coolant flowing all the time in tig mode.

Even with it going all the time I can still boil the coolant in the torch and hoses, your idea would probably work ok with a smaller welder or bigger torch.

With my PID controlled fan I can hear when the hot water reaches the radiator, and the post flow is usually already off before the fan revs up
