Hello, Iím a new member, but not so new to welding. I first started as a young teen because my father and grandfather were struggling to get good welds, and somehow I had a knack. I continued to be the family welder just for our own steel projects. Iíve tried cast iron with some luck. Itís not my favorite, but sometimes necessary. Most of the time I have used one of our red Lincoln AC welders, and when I was more active, bought a Miller mig machine. I just came upon a Miller 180 AC/DC stick machine with the crank dial. That will afford me to weld with DC!

Thanks for having me part of the group, Peter.
