where does everyone get there engine rebuild kits from? who has the best kits around ? thanks

BWparts.com I've bought two sets of engine rebuild kits from them with very good success. All the parts fit real good after machining and boring of the block if needed. There prices are on par or better than most kits for the F-162 or F-163 for the SA 200 or the SA 250 gas or diesel.

BW parts does seem to have good prices for there parts,

Yes B&W are good prices, other sources are AG kits, Steiner tractor. Napa Auto used or maybe still does and your engine machine shop can get them. It's best to shop around and compare. Did get the exhaust manifold from Steiner. Like most things, these parts are made by a few companies and the place you buy from may chose to sell by volume and discount them to you.

i'll get the manifold from steiner when i save up more funds , i'll probably place a big order with BWparts when im ready

"haven't put engine together yet looks good quality ,,had do machine shop oversized piston and turned crank and connecting,, can"t remember all prices but thinking piston less than $40.00 apiece ? thinking BW WANTED $274 FOR ALL 4?

i saw this kit , but it does not include the valve train, it looks to me that depending on what manufacture that BW parts sells, there prices seem to be just like all the rest , so im gonna call them to see who makes there kits , and go from there

Not against AGkits.com because ive ordered from them before on certain parts, but the kit that BWparts offers is a pretty good kit including the valve train for the price, and if i had any questions about parts from BWparts, they were very helpful and explain.

believe the entire Continental engine rebuild manual is online free if your do a search, not a lot of time now but search and you will find it.
