    Trailblazer 44g?

I have an opportunity to buy at a reasonable price, I think $1200, with a trailer/running gear and I know nothing of this machine. Can you guys shed some light on this machine? Good buy or steer clear? My plan is to use it as a back up generator with welder capabilities. Thanks!

Good machines. Great for welding and gouging. Check the hours.
They usually dont have much generator capacity. usually only 3500watts. Enough to run a grinder or other electric tools but pretty small for a backup generator.

Yeah I have read that generator capacity is serial # dependent most are low and one is up to 10kw.

What is the serial number? The TB 44G I'm aware off is an AC/DC machine with a Continental F163 engine. It may have a 7.5 KVA generator but will use a bunch of gas being a 4 cylinder engine. Serial number should tell more.

I passed on the machine too many hours for my liking. The hour meter broke at 5000 some hours 10 years ago or so I was told. Plus it looked rougher in person then his photos.
