There are some low priced CNC plasma out there that are not worth having for a newby. You can build our own to better quality and price if you have the ability as a fabricator. I have built 9 table as a hobbyist (on steroids) the process is not very hard, just time consuming. You will need to learn some software where you buy or build.

Have you done any looking around on cnczone.com or plasmaspider.com plenty of great ideas out there also you'll learn about several different kinds of 'platforms' for lack of a better word and their pros and cons... like ACJ says... you can get much more value for your bux if you build yourself... you don't even have to scratch build it if you don't have the capabilities, there are plenty of 'levels' of build it yourself out there but it does take some considerable research to really get into the 'know'

If you go to plasma spider there are many builds there. I also have one. I have the same user name. I have my build in my signature. But you also have to join the forum to see the pics. Well worth the join as there are super knowledgeable people there that will assist.
