    Hello everyone

Hello everyone. Sam here and I use to weld a long long time ago. 50 years old now and getting back into it and my middle son is going to school for welding, fabrication and machining. We are in the process of starting a shop for him (I get to play with the toys)to do work on the side while he is in school. Currently have a Miller multimatic 220 and love it. In the market for a mobile welder and not really sure what to get. Looking at the big blue 400 kubota and the trailblazer 325 kubota diesel. If anybody has any suggestions please give them.

    thanks

Welcome youngster! Enjoy your tools while you can, I'm at a point in my life where I'm thinking of selling everything & staying in the house & out of trouble! Best wishes.

A Big Blue 400 is a big machine that may be way more than you'll ever need. A TB 325 is a nice machine but the diesel versions are a little pricey. TB 325 gas with Excel power saves a lot on fuel and wear. TB 325 is multi-process too if you wanted to add a wire feeder. Also small enough to easily carry in a pick up. Lincoln Ranger 305 is a good machine too. All depends on what type of welding you'll be doing.
