    Help identify car make/model/year

Can any of you car guys help with the make/model and year of this car driven by a package thief? It looks to me like a Mercury Marquis or Ford Crown Vic but I don't know my big sedans that well.

I kind of think it might be an earlier model Grand Marquis...I think it looks like a second gen 1992-1997 based on the slope of the trunk and the tail lights.

Join your local nextdoor.com (neighborhood-based website) and post the picture there. Someone may recognize the person.

That's where the pics are posted. A Ford expert on another forum narrowed it down to a 95-97 Grand Marquis. It's not a real common car around here especially in red and that together with the girl will hopefully be easy for someone to spot/recognize. Of course nobody got murdered so the police will not be involved.

Freakin thieves, why can't the sorry SOB's leave other people's property/belongings alone. Can you blow the pictures up enough to see the plate number?

Also check with other neighbors on that street and see if they have any footage that might be better... I know most people don't really communicate with neighbors these days but trust me it's worth doing!!! usually you'll find they are nice people willing to help in lots of ways and I would bet they'd be very greatful to know what's going on in the neighborhood

And be prepared when you talk to others have a dozen or so hardcopies of the pics you got ready to show people.

That sux, the neighbors may be an excellent option too, and with any luck they're not involved, best wishes on getting it figured out.
