HTP is at it again! Invertig 313 AC/DC 1/3-Φ 300A TIG welder!

They just keep releasing more and more bada*# machines! Looks like this one is the little brother of the Invertig 400, and the big brother of the 221! From their website (features look identical to the 400, except that it tops out at 300A).

    HTP Invertig 313 AC/DC

A typo that I keep seeing, at least on the 400, is the AC Frequency. If it is identical to the 400, it should read: 20-400Hz (up to 99A), 20-200Hz (over 99A). Also, not sure what is a "23-series" TIG torch, maybe a typo.

No, I will not be buying one, lol.

For reals, I'm done. Why would I take a step down when I already have the 400?

    Let's see.

I need to obtain/start building a set of high-power vacuum tube mono-block amplifiers.
Need to obtain a few hundred pounds of magnet wire/resistors/capacitors to create a few iterations of crossover units for my custom-designed high-resolution ultra-high power handling music monitors (four 10" bass drivers, four 10" passive radiators, one 10" midrange, and one horn-loaded AMT tweeter PER enclosure).
Looking at a Precision Matthews knee-mill.
    Looking at a Marshall full-stack with a JCM2000 super-lead.

This would have interested me earlier this year but I bought something else. I'm happy with what I have.
Curious that they went with the 350/400 before this model. This one has some very good specs and features.

Well, keep in mind that HTP pretty much follows Stel, and Stel had the 350/400 didn't they? This looks like a new machine that was recently designed.

They are all made by Stel for the American market as far as I know, that's no secret. Which one is the new one based on? My guess is it's the 350/400, not sure.
These are the European units: http://www.stelgroup.it/tig-2/?lang=en

    Ernie,

What I meant is that Stel already had the 350/400 but this 331 is a new design that Stel did after. Even if Stel doesn't have the machine listed, they most certainly developed it. Could be some type of contract they have with HTP America why they don't have it listed yet, but it is fairly new, my guess is that we'll see it listed on the Stel site when it is rolling off the production line. Are people actually receiving these machines in America with the HTP name on them already?

I hardly think it's a "new design". To me it seems like they simply de-tuned the Invertig 400 by changing out the power supply and of course adjusting the programming as needed. This one doesn't accept 3-Φ power over 230V (nominally of course). There is no listing for 400V/460V/500V/etc. Other than that, the specs are identical as listed/described compared to the Invertig 400. One person has one. Jimbo from Jimbo's Garage on YouTube has one. It's on HTP's Instagram page.

At 121 lbs it's not exactly portable, deff a shop welder. I like the 221 in that I can pick it up with one hand and it can ride on the seat of the truck. Still, looks like a hell of a machine for the price if someone needs a new shop welder.
