    Powercut 1300 Help.

I was cutting with it tonight it was working like a champ then it stopped. Showed E21 PIP No Continuity. Replaced nozzle and electrode. Checked air at 80 psi. Still does not work. I have air coming out of torch on power on. The air stops and then the E21 code comes back. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Todd

PIP is parts in place. Usually means that the consumables aren't seated or tightened properly or, The little plunger safety switch that gets pushed in when the nozzle gets tightened isn't pushed in far enough. Good luck.

E21, if new tip and electrode in torch don't help.
Do a continuity check on torch lead. make sure no leads are broken.
If torch lead is good. then you might be looking at a new pilot arc IGBT.
Hopefully there is not a problem with the control pcb that drives the IGBT.
