    Encoder on Dynasty 350

    Hi,
I own a Dynasty 350 (year 2013) which is a not very common machine here in germany. Itīs a very clean machine and it has very little hrs.
However, it welds fine, but im wondering about the behavior of the encoder.
When I change settings at the encoder wheel it sometmes jumps forward and backward when I turn it faster. If I turn slowly it does what I expect.
I have other machines from different manufacturers and itīs possible to turn the knob much faster, without that "jumping" of the value.
Is that normal for the Dynasty?? or do I have to get nervous?
    Thank you.
    Kai

some encoders do this sometimes. try opening it and clean it,electrical contact cleaner or blow air in it.

Some miller encoders just don't like turning fast. if you turn to fast they jump around.
Just slow down a little till it adjusts smoothly.
