    CK FL250 torch consumables

I bought a new CK 3 series flex-lock torch to replace my weldcraft 17 air cooled torch thinking that the consumables would interchange.
When I tried to move the pieces over, the collet body threads didnít seem to fit, like it was trying to cross thread. The old back caps interchange fine.
I didnít force anything and figured they must not interchange, but everything I can find says it should.
Now Iím thinking there is a burr in the torch head preventing the first thread to catch. Do I need to chase the threads in the torch or did I buy the wrong torch?

CK 3 series flex-lock torch is a #17 torch. Miller and CK usually interchange on similar torches.

Thanks for the verification. I didnít want to do something dumb.
I just put a new gas lens in the torch and it was a little tight at first, but goes in and out smoothly now.
