    Outback 185 problems

Need some help diagnosing an Outback 185. It loses power on both welding and Aux a few mins after use. I swapped the board to a used one and seems to work for a a few more mins but still loses power. Swapped bridge rectifier also, no change. Engine runs fine and raises idle as needed. Any troubleshooting tips?

Check just how much if any power is still there after it "loses power" look for both AC and DC.

How long before power returns? if it does while the engine is still running? Does it still raise the idle after it loses power?
