Re: Black & decker
I have Dewatl 20volt
If I am drilling all time it last almost 1 1/2 hour.
Think more how must it used.
I have use hand drills 8 to 10 hours and only time the drill stops is at break.

battery would be very light and compact. Not big enough to supply the voltage/amperage but have enough power to connect with the power source wirelessly so you can make adjustments on the fly etc. the earth and air would supply the welding current. It’s all science fiction as far as everyone knows but Nicola was working on WiFi electricity.

I'll go ahead and work on that for you. Need something to think about when I drive anyway

Re: Black & decker
The drawback to Nikola Tesla was how charge for power.
You can get power from power company with in connection.
But they pay big fines when power companies finds out.

I used to live in New Britain CT, the original home of Stanley Tool Works. Its a shame what they did to that town. Took out all the jobs, and left a brownfield mess.

Re: Black & decker
Try this for battery welding
It takes 24 volts and 150 amps for one hour of welding.
For 8 hour day that is 16 batteries @ 125 pounds each for total weight of backpack welder 2,000 pounds.
It charge around 400 times
Sounds great
The battery on link below is 12 volt 200 amp under best condition. So it will 2 batteries
Do not worry the governor of California is planing on banding sale of gas car in next 15 years.
I guess a backpack welder is up and coming.
I wonder what will happen to all the dead batteries.
I know we can send to China land fill.

Re: Black & decker
It was cheaper to move
Keeps profit up
Maybe next stop China low labor cost just $1.00 hour and state run healthcare.
Just think all jobs lost from 1960's. From manufacturing to repair. Just think of last time a TV repairman came out to home. Let's blame the other part.
At least Black & decker is coming back

We all know Newscum is a complete MORON LEFTIST PIECE OF SCHIT.l
I've read that in the not too far off future the technology will be in place to capture electricity from the air to power our daily needs and wants, it's kind of scary to me to think about that kind of power floating around us all the time.
New Britain hand tools were/are the premium line of mechanics tools that NAPA carries/carried.

Our world has become a throw-away world, everything is so cheap we just replace it when it breaks, and that's reflected in the quality.
