    Flag pole holder

I want to make a flag pole holder for my SUV. Has anyone made their own? If so what type of steel did you use for the flag pole? Thick wall, thin wall, O.D. etc. Thanks.

I have seen many that go into a trailer hitch..just use steel and paint it, thats all the trailer hitch is made of...if you want something fancy to bolt onto bumpers or roof rails, stainless would look nice, or eve if you made it od steel and paint the same color as your truck or car...

For the pole go to a farm supply and buy a fiberglass electric fence post.

I thought about that, but I'm afraid it will break when I hit 90+.

drinve backwards in reverse. when you hit 90, the car will keep the fence post from bending and breaking.

Buy a F clamp from harbor freight, weld a 1' long piece of black pipe to it, drill holes in the black pipe and flag pole for a hitch pin, clamp it to your trailer hitch, and giddy up down the road.
