    So you have no problem paying for its construction and then paying again to ride it. Amazing! Its like paying for a football stadium and then buying season tickets to go see the games. Government is not here to entertain us nor are they hear to sell us stuff. Leave business to its own.

    Unfortunately thats basically how every bridge in the vicinity of NYC works too.

    The Verizano into staten island was supposed to be free once it was paid off... Its one of the most if not the most expensive bridges to cross in the state.

    i've worked off skyclimber scaffolds,welded off wood and rope floats and bosun's chairs and even been under the 59th st bridge roadway but no way would i pay to ride that wheel. the last time i sat in a roller coaster i felt like kicking myself as soon as it started moving.
