What is this symbol?
It's a torque spec and I understand they are saying 2 stages but the first stage says 5nm and the second says 95 with this symbol (where the blue arrow is pointing), anyone know what it means?

Pretty sure it's 95 degrees. Like you would torque a stretch bolt with a torque angle guage.

OK I get it. I just looked at angle gauges and they all get really bad reviews, I think I will just use my old camshaft degree wheel and call it good

That would work. With 95 degrees you could probably even just eyeball it.

Re: What is this symbol?
Actually when I thought about it I think it is just a fancy way to say "5NM plus a quarter turn"

The torque turn method. If a pinch of salt is acceptable for a Michelin Star chef surely a tad, smidge or .... hair should acceptable for a mechanic.

Re: What is this symbol?
My favorite torque setting: go till it cracks, then back a 1/4 turn.

I could never figure out how to use one. And if you split one you have to make Hosinfeffer out of it or else it is a sin to kill it.
