Lincoln Ranger 8 Fuel Gauge Assembly

I have a Lincoln Ranger 8 welder. Model number 10373. I need the fuel gauge assembly that goes into the tank, because mine is leaking when the machine is not level. I am also wanting to purchase the choke cable linkage, that goes from control panel to the carburetor. Can not seem to find the correct part numbers on the internet.

Go to NAPA auto parts or your favorite auto parts store.
ask for a universal replacement choke assembly cable.
    Just cut to fit.
Lincoln's suggested sale price is $130.00 for the gauge.
your local welding supply will sell for around this . If they are Lincoln authorized.

Ok, will do. I have another question. How long should the Lincoln Ranger 8 welder stay in high idle after I stop welding? The reason I am asking, I used to have a Miller Legend welder and when you stopped welding, the welder stayed in high idle for about ten seconds. When I stop welding with the Lincoln Ranger 8 welder, it returns to low idle immediately. Thanks

The choke cable appears to be S-7525-18 for an Onan engine below code 10900.

The fuel gauges I've seen have a rubber or cork gasket under the sight window. And if the window is cloudy, as most are, it will usually clean up pretty well and be usable. Unless you know the gasket is good and that the gauge is leaking elsewhere I'd cut some gas resistant gasket material and try that first.

    Best regards to all,

Ok. I will try to cleanup first. I think it is leaking around the gasket. Thanks
