On/Off Switch for Lincoln Ranger 8 Welder

Does anyone know the part number for the on/off switch, for the Ranger 8 welder? The model number is 10373. It has the 16hp Onan motor.

Re: On/Off Switch for Lincoln Ranger 8 Welder

The reason I am asking about the on/off switch. I purchased the Ranger 8 a couple of weeks ago. The previous owner broke the on/off switch and replaced, not sure if correct one but the switch turns the welder off. My question, the ammeter gauge on the face off the machine never shows positive charge. It is always on negative side of zero, even when I start the machine but alternator is charging. With machine running I have 13.5 volts on battery. I noticed in the electrical schematic of the welder, the on/off switch is connected to the ammeter circuit. Not sure if this is why the ammeter gauge never shows positive charge. Thanks.

I am posting the electrical schematic of the Ranger 8 welder, with the Onan engine. Do you think if the on/off switch is installed incorrectly, would this cause the ammeter to register incorrectly?

I recently replaced a Lincoln switch - same price.

I happen to know the 'Control House' the regional
Lincoln authorized repair depot buys their parts.

Switches are not proprietary - out the door 14.00$

    Shop around . . .
