In order to do this "see if it still meets all the oil manufacturers specs." he will need the TBN (total base number) which is usually an additional $10.

johnt driving this truck? Going 55-60 in a 60 and this guy gets this close. Lot of the time they like to leave me this much room in the front. His boss was happy I called him. You don’t get 80k 3’ from a car going 65 and think it’s ok. Lot of stupid semi drivers that could be replaced by a good driver with patience

I have used delvac1 and a bypass filter on my truck and skid loader for about 20 years now. When I ran my truck a lot I would change oil 1 time per year no matter how many miles I put on it. Now that I am retired and do not use the truck much I will change oil every 3 years. My skid loader gets the oil changed every 500 hrs and it take a long time for it to get 500 hrs on it.

The first couple of years I had the oil tested in the truck but found I was not even close to it deteriorating so I quit testing it. The skid loader oil stays clear for over 200 hrs and by 500 hrs its about the color of medium maple syrup. In a diesel that is saying something. I will say that I have to put a qt of oil in the skid loader about every 50 hrs or so and if I was so inclined I could probably get by with never changing the oil in it and just replace the bypass filter and regular filter every 500 hrs.The only reason I don't do it is thast I would want to start testing the oil again and if Im going to do that I might as well just change the oil. A 1 micron bypass filter is the only way to go if you keep your stuff for a long time.

peace lolnever had to push the clutch in besides leaving my house. And used the brake for a few seconds. Not trying to catch these people either. I shift at the minimum rpm and let it drop to 1500

I'd have to personally see all the calculations to believe it, gallons, miles etc not just what the needle says. I don't believe a lot of people really know how to get accurate MPG numbers.

I got a 25 gallon tank. It goes 550 and then I go to put 24 gallons in. Don’t know what else to say. And that’s average. Haven’t done all hwy except for 1/4 tank and it got 28 mpg. I tell my girlfriend seconds before the gas light goes on.

to get a true reading of what the engine is doing, you need to test the oil several times as you put on the miles to compare new and old samples to see if there is more metallic content in the oil or other impurities...

That's different than seeing if the oil still meets specs which is what the OP stated.

Got my gears mixed up earlier. 5 is 35 mph minimum and 4 is 25. Almost scared myself for a minute thinking about going that fast. 3rd goes down to 15 mph at 1500 I think

Last time I filled up it fit 24 gallons and I drove 521 miles on that. Went to fill up and it reach full at 22.990 gallons. Same pump facing down a touch. So I used less gas then what I put in last time and went 521 city and hwy. I felt it got really good mileage on this tank. Sold half cord or firewood today also running those miles

Fir don’t weight much but I could tell it was there going up and down the hills. Touch over. I like my customers happy 77 cubic foot and got a 25$ tip

I think I ben honked at maybe 2-3 times over the last few years for driving a little slower. Close driving cars don’t bother me just the semis, I flip my rear facing mirror so I don’t have to see that. I just use side mirrors. And I only drive slow around lights and coming up on stop signs. I go around corners fast and take off good. Could be the area your in tho with very inpatient drivers. Can’t compare towns I don’t think. People are pretty laid back in PNW
