    Tig welding 1/8 aluminum

    I知 welding 1/8 aluminum 1G corner joint. I need help on setting parameters. What would you guys set your amperage, balance and frequency to? I知 using 3/32 tungsten

    What brand and model welder?
    Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR"

    I promise I'm not saying this to be mean, but if the experts here (I'm not one) are going to help, you have to give them something to work with.

    Three days ago you posted the same question on the other forum and folks asked what machine, what position, what type of joint, etc. I believe you added that it's a flat fillet weld, but nothing else. Now you post the same question, and you're getting asked the same questions. If you want an answer that is helpful, you're going to have to fill in the details a little bit.

    Short of that, set your machine for 150amps, 30% cleaning action, 100Hz and see what happens....adjust from there and you'll figure out the answer yourself.

    Generally 150A and go from there.

    Out corner joint dont take much. Inside acute corner takes about 3 times the amps. Set the machine to 150 and have another person look at the machine and let you know the amps being used or record it with your phone
